How long is the Dot Watch standby time?
Standby time refers to how long the pins are displayed on the Dot Watch screen. For example, if the standby time is set to 30 seconds, the braille output will be displayed for 30 seconds. Afterwards, if no other action is taken, all the pins will drop and go to power saving mode. The default standby time setting is 30 seconds. Depending on how fast you read braille, you can set the standby time from 5 seconds to infinity (this means that the pins will not go to power save mode).
